Its really hard to believe that someone like Robin Williams, someone that brought joy and laughter to so many could be so tortured enough to take his own life. I've never been so impacted by a celebrity death as I have been today. I literally grew up watching everything this man was involved in, be it Robin as the Genie in Aladdin, Peter Pan in Hook, Teddy Roosevelt in the Night at the Museum, Walter in Insomnia, Mork from Mork and Mindy, Andrew in Bicentennial Man, or what I consider his best work as Patch in Patch Adams not to mention all of his other amazing works. He made me believe that laughter truly could be the greatest medicine, and when I found myself sick last year that was what got me through every treatment and everyday. Laughter. Not only that, he taught me that its important to hold onto what it is that makes you, you. That you should never change you are to be what others think you should be. To always keep the kid in you alive. His work will always be remembered, as will he for the way that he not only was able to put a smile on someones face, but what he could do for people. So thank you Robin Williams, you will be missed, but never forgotten.

I agree completely and whole heartily he was a legend among many and his absence will be missed not just by us but future generations will only ever know the movies not the actor behind the movies. May his essence be free and may he find peace in Neverland. Carpe Diem! R.I.P Robin Wiliams
